Three thoughts about it.

1. It's as close to a snakehead headstock as I have ever seen that doesn't look awful. The strings are nearly straight, which is very difficult to do without making it look like an unfortunate and malformed knob end. You pulled it off with this one.
2. The end could be shaped a bit more. Not Rickenbacker more, but a bit more than just an asymmetrical pointy arc.
3. I like the dragon a lot.
2. I like the almosy-subtlety of it. Those are usually symmetrical, and in tbis case a little goes a long way.
3. I like the dragon too, nice!

Thanks, my initial idea was to make the end into a dragon's mouth and inlay some teeth into it but I just can't get there without making it huge.

I'll get back to you :)

It would seem to me that making those inlays is a complete art form in it of itself.
You can do that too? Looks hella tricky..
Most of it is straight forward, it's just a matter of sawing the shape with a jewellers saw, the difficult bits are the wing tips and the very thin part of the tail, they may well end up with bits of shell put in edge on in tiny pieces. I've done a lot of it in wood and some in mother of pearl so it's still a case of try it and hope for the best, just need to take it easy and go very slow. It would be a lot easier in mother of toilet seat but where's the fun in that, I'll just call it an exercise in bad language :roflmao:

Hows this look then? A bit rough but it's just ideas. The headstock will be bound by the way

Could I talk you into trying another mock-up using that same headstock shape, but putting your brand straight just above the upper tuning machines, instead of following the curve across the top of the headstock?
