The head was a waste. Fortunately I didn't pay much for it and haven't built a box for it yet. I'm debating whether to get the last driver or a decent class D head for the tower first. But really, pictures come first, and here it is:

It has a timeless beauty to it and I'll bet it weighs a ton!

You actually built your own amp, WOW!. Got me thinking out of the box. Just saw a posting on the 7ender Studio Bass Club where a member removed the head from the original 7ender cab and married it with an Ampeg 8X10. I guess all kinds of possibilities exist when experimenting like this..
Love the look of that setup.

I first became aware of her when I was looking at Rippers when they came out-before I got the '67 Bird and long b4 her appearances on "Happy Days". Once again showing my age(sigh) <Addendum> I don't buy "vintage"gear. I buy stuff that was new when I started playing bass(1966):whistle:

The issue I have with P necks is the road-kill flatness of them. My favorite bass guitar neck, so far, is the monster on my bolt-on 'Bird. It's 1-3/5" wide at the nut and round like it should be. The only thing better would be a V shaped neck like the back of a real '56 or so Precision. The chances I'll ever have one of those is about zero.

All this talk of spit and swallow reminds me of one of my favorite and unfortunately very short lived bands of the 90's...

Great album, hardly a bad song on it. Might be the only CD they put out IIRC.
