Thunderbird Club

Yeah, there's no traction for that. The Beatles, the Who, the Stones... And who was that Irish guy? Rory Summat?
But you had such great bands yourselves, you had more good bands that we have people in the UK Well rock bands anyway we couldn't begin to compete in other genres, I didn't like your punk scene at all, I think we had that one down in the very early days

Rory Summat? This guy? :roflmao:

I don't think the Squeeze or Boomtown Rats were ever huge, but they definitely had airplay and a following. Undertones are new to me.
Squeeze were great, I'm glad at least they are known over your side, Geldolf on the other hand despite having done some good other things is still a posh gobsh1te.

How about XTC? Another post punk pop based band who were I thought good

The Buzzcock you must have heard of?

Not from my chair, Pineapple is a desert, putting it on a main course is a thing invented by people who are to lazy to get up and fetch a desert from the fridge or wherever :roflmao:

How's the boat fun going? :hyper:
Got back yesterday. All good. No major setbacks. There are some serious fires up in Mendocino so the air quality kinda sucked but otherwise, great time. thanks for asking.

+1
you realize this could derail like the meatballs right?
Meatballs were invented by a none lazy person with vision, a person who makes or appreciate meatballs is a none lazy person. A person who can be arsed typing an argument for pineapple on pizza or gammon isn't that lazy and as such must be considered a troll :roflmao:

And of course to anyone who thinks I'm being serious...... I AM!!! :roflmao:

Squeeze rocks, although it always made me wonder (Tempted by the Fruit of Another) why a dude that has to buy toothpaste and a toothbrush to appeal to his new flame was surprised he was having problems with the old flame in the first place!

XTC Nigel is a classic. That recorded bass sound is MASSIVE. Love that track.

I've seen those on TV, they look awful

Glad you had a good time, I love messing around in boats

Funny thing. Around 88 I was on a short holiday at Yamba (Nthn Rivers NSW). They had a nice pizza place, and we noticed they had desert pizzas. So we got one, as you do.
Banana & bacon pizza.

It was nice actually.

Heard of XTC but not familiar with their music. Buzzcocks? Never heard of them. I notice the lead singer seems to be riveted to the floor:smug:
