I would put a black TRC on the Draig headstock. No point in cluttering it up. It is beautiful, and it should be kept that way. I don't see how a fancied up TRC would do anything but detract.

Had a steak marinated in Pineapple juice once, that was nice BBQ'd (grilled on your side) by a south African guy
A nice pineapple and maple syrup glaze on ham is always welcome at my dinner table. Actually I can't remember when I've ever had pineapple for desert. On this side of the pond it's mostly a breakfast or lunch thing along with watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, strawberries and blueberries in a fruit cup.Not from my chair, Pineapple is a desert, putting it on a main course is a thing invented by people who are to lazy to get up and fetch a desert from the fridge or wherever
How's the boat fun going?![]()
Did you never watch Shrek?Sorry, no.![]()
LOL you haven't livedAHEM!

You'll never believe what I had for tea tonight, BBQ chicken kebabs with pineapple and mango chutneyA grilled pineapple ring on a burger is good as well. But don't put pineapple in Jello; the Jello will not set.

There isn't a direct word for custom, the closest would be "Archeb arbennig" which fits the bill but is a bit pretentious in that it means it is more special than special and a bit long to fit on a TRC, maybe a MOP "C"?A) How 'bout a cover the same shape as the headstock, 3 ply, blk/wht/blk... but it would hafta have something on there, That big blank chip would hafta be adorned with something for the eye. What is the Welsh word for "Custom"?
B) I think it would be beautiful if you could make one out of mahogany (again, same shape as the headstock), that color-matched the sides and back of the body. Considering the fragility, is there a way that could be done?
No and the bottom screw hole has no wood under it only a truss rodI can confirm that the standard Gibson bell TRC doesn’t look right. The scale is a bit off, but still.

No tort, I would rather put made in England than have tort

The idea for the mahogany one, was to show the mahogany face. I'd hafta see it to know fer sher... but in my minds eye, it's buhYOOOOTEEEfulThere isn't a direct word for custom, the closest would be "Archeb arbennig" which fits the bill but is a bit pretentious in that it means it is more special than special and a bit long to fit on a TRC, maybe a MOP "C"?
The TRC from Mahogany is straightforward, I could make a 3 cross ply from veneers, it would be easy to use an ebony face veneer with the two bottom ones from Mahogany if a black surface was an idea?

That's a possibilityView attachment 3106661 This is a Warmoth TRC

Too busy. I would just go with a plain black one and make it mostly disappear. The headstock doesn't need clutter from a TRC.
yeah... um... I'm glad you did that. After seeing it... I'm not as fond of the idea...

I'm liking the plain black. The high-fiving dragon is big and having a decorative TRC could make the headstock too busy. That's a possibility![]()

to Will's point... perhaps using the same veneer on the TRC that you used on the headstock itself. You could make it dern near invisibleToo busy. I would just go with a plain black one and make it mostly disappear. The headstock doesn't need clutter from a TRC.
