Maybe, I'm liking the idea of a wooden one, maybe an ebony top and bottom with Mahogany sandwiched in?I'm liking the plain black. The high-fiving dragon is big and having a decorative TRC could make the headstock too busy.

Very doable, I have some offcuts but it is easy enough to buy another veneer if need beto Will's point... perhaps using the same veneer on the TRC that you used on the headstock itself. You could make it dern near invisible![]()
I said no tort!!Hmmm Great minds think alike. Now you just have to accept pineapple in pizza.

I haven't chimed in on this damn pineapple thing, cuz I want everybody to enjoy whatevernahell they want... but for the record... pineapple belongs in a number of different places. On a pizza in front of me, ain't one of 'emHmmm Great minds think alike. Now you just have to accept pineapple in pizza.

This is the right look!View attachment 3106661 This is a Warmoth TRC
ooOOOOooooo... THAT sounds sexxxy!!!Maybe, I'm liking the idea of a wooden one, maybe an ebony top and bottom with Mahogany sandwiched in?
How about this, it is a distortion of the headstock with a rounded end (NO AHEMS!!)This is the right look!
Shape and color are perfect and don't detract from the other shapes and text on the headstock. Remember, once you get the tuners on and the nut placed and the strings wound up, that headstock is gonna look a lot more busy than it does now.
If you really want to class it up, use that shape but instead of black plastic laminate make the truss cover out of the same laminate wood you used for the headstock.
Great Flamin' Groovies record, "Teenage Head". Keith Richards stated plainly in an interview that he wished the Stones had done it.Growing up on the left coast, I was unaware of the controversy around Teenage Head. I bought one of their records in a used shop and thought “This is cool - and Canadian!”
I love anchovies on pizza. And pineapple.A nice pineapple and maple syrup glaze on ham is always welcome at my dinner table. Actually I can't remember when I've ever had pineapple for desert. On this side of the pond it's mostly a breakfast or lunch thing along with watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, strawberries and blueberries in a fruit cup.
But on pizza? Gotta agree with most, it (along with spinach) just seems really out of place on a nice pie. I'll eat it but only because I'm not a picky eater (heck, I'll even eat anchovies on my pizza).
There are limits.Hmmm Great minds think alike. Now you just have to accept pineapple in pizza.
WOW!!! The Flamin' Groovies... THERE'S a name I haven't heard in years! I'mma hafta look them up again! Thanx Rog!Great Flamin' Groovies record, "Teenage Head". Keith Richards stated plainly in an interview that he wished the Stones had done it.
Too busy. I would just go with a plain black one and make it mostly disappear. The headstock doesn't need clutter from a TRC.
Slow Death... and Shake Some Action are my 2 favs I think.WOW!!! The Flamin' Groovies... THERE'S a name I haven't heard in years! I'mma hafta look them up again! Thanx Rog!![]()

I like it. No ehems needed. Simple is better for that, and I wouldn't even use a laminated wood. That's a whole lot of work for not much gain. Plastic is fine, and would last a long time anyway. Plus, if the plastic has a similar sheen to the finished headstock, it will mostly disappear. Disappearing is what it should do best. How about this, it is a distortion of the headstock with a rounded end (NO AHEMS!!)

More like this? How about something a little thinner with a slight curve with a Ric-ish vibe to it, in black.
What a beautiful place!!!! Is that a wildlife sanctuary place there with the jetty?
TBH... I'm not in love with this one, but I'm havin' a hard time comin' up with stuff I like better. I snatched these off the web, just for some ideas (obviously, the screw holes would hafta be adjusted in some cases). How about this, it is a distortion of the headstock with a rounded end (NO AHEMS!!)
