We are having a slow Saturday. So the topics were ‘drummers’ and ‘singer.’ Really feel like I deserved more credit for that last post

I didn't know what to look up. Ignorance is... Ignorance.I had to look it up!
I had to look it up!
I've done it a couple of times. I'm a terrible singer, but it was more proof of concept. One time was Strange Ways from Kiss, that Peter Criss sang! Written by Ace Frehley, but he wasn't confident enough yet to sing.Well apart from the incontrovertible fact that it's impossible to sing and play bass at the same time ... NO.

Darn good one too, Mark!As a singing bass player, the trick is not being terribly good at either discipline. My pro tip for the day

Many years ago, I was renting a movie at Blockbuster. As I was paying, I remarked to the salesgirl, “Here’s a few more dollars for Wayne” Blank stare. “You know, Wayne Huizenga? the owner of Blockbuster? Owns the Marlins? Blank stare. I shamefully walked out into the pouring rain with my VHS copy of “Battle Beyond the Stars.”It’s Eric SINGER!!! At least I thought it was... worked drummer and singer into a single photo.
Y’all are geniuses, and I thank you for the suggestions. Finding that I like playing the T-Bird lower than my other basses. Also able to use the rear PuP as a thumb rest. What a fun thread!
Play it out, you may be surprised at the comments, people notice Thunderbirds - Very good for the ego!
So far the only comment I can remember about my Thunderbird live was someone complimenting the aesthetics.Play it out, you may be surprised at the comments, people notice Thunderbirds - Very good for the ego!
First time I've lurked in a while actually. I just had this feeling Mark had something good to say tonightAre you lurking here all the time? Or only on rainy Sundays?
I've been playing my 67 NR since I got it in 73. I've played big band, concert band, a Miami Beach hotel lounge gig where we played everything from "New York, New York" to rock that was current in 80-82. After that a lotta "Great American Songbook" stuff and now back to 'classic rock'(whatever that is). The only negative comments I've gotten were about my hair-when I still had it.So far the only comment I can remember about my Thunderbird live was someone complimenting the aesthetics.

Back to Siouxsie and the Banshees, I've been a huge fan since the late 80s I guess. Funny that the album that got brought up here was Superstition. I think that's my least favorite of theirs. Haeyena, Juju, and others from around them are probably my favorites, though I guess I love all of them in their own ways. The one that always surprises me how good it is is the last one, The Rapture.
I really like Steve Severin's bass playing, but damn is Budgie an amazing drummer.
Fun trivia. I once had Steve Severin in my car. He was dating a friend of mine and the three of us went to some party I think and since I had a car at the time, I drove us. Very nice guy.
Yeah. They, did some great covers on there.
Really interesting treatment of a Disney song.
I will happily take some. Burgundy Mist has metal flakes and is kinda pink. If it means guitarists are on it and not excessively loud, even better. When I stopped playing with men, I found the negative Thunderbird comments went away, like magic.
Drummers started magically responding to emails and texts.
Guitarists started magically learning songs.
I tell you, there's something in this pink glitter unicorn business.
