I can't show this pic to my drummer - his dream kit would be blue sparkle...
Wow, I love that bass so much. I don't remember seeing it before. Thanks for the later explanation. I did also always love the regular Kubicki body style.
One question, one comment...
Windmills?
Don't believe you. Pics or it didn't happen.![]()
Jimmy, you've played one with the strap pin at the neck heel? When I first got my Gibson, I was surprised that the way it hangs actually pulled the neck in towards me, requiring less of a reach for the first fret compared to my Carvin, by about two frets.

That would've been interested, but this was about 10 years after Smith's time in the band! Imagine Smith doing double duty on that tour.
Wow, that's so excellent that you guys play together, and she on a Les Paul! No bloodshed I hope?
Where's What?
Thanks to everyone for all the well wishes! I'm fine, in relatively good shape and just dealing with high blood pressure, which seems to be kept in check with meds. Maxed out the stress test treadmill and never even broke a sweat. I do a 5k walk every day except when I'm golfing (but I probably put in the same excercise chasing my errant drives LOL).@GBassNorth Hope you're ok man. The only bad news we wanna hear is the Jizzmaster showed up and not the Bird.
I think even the trombone would be ok.

Anyway, looks like the bird/guitar won't be here until Monday now.![]()
1)Agreed. 2) 'cos they can. That's all good to hear except for the hold up on the bird/guitar. Any news on why?
through a cab with mixed drivers (oh the horror).
My 1510 sounds fantastic with my PF350. It makes me happy because:
3. The heads of the mixed driver police would explode.
For sure. They have designed it to work, which is different than random cabs.Hold on a minute. Even without looking inside the Traynor cabs, I'd expect there to be some sort of passive crossover, as there is in a home hifi speaker, dividing the signal into different ranges tailored to the frequency response and power handling of the various drivers. That's entirely different to pushing a full bandwidth signal through a bunch of different drivers and expecting a good result.

Specs/Schematics show no x-over except for the horn. However, as I recall, it is not all one big box; it is effectively two stacked cabinets, so each is tuned to work with the other. For sure. They have designed it to work, which is different than random cabs.

Edit - still will make heads explode.
Probably just to build suspense. That's all good to hear except for the hold up on the bird/guitar. Any news on why?
Big brown strikes again. Much prefer FexEx.1)Agreed. 2) 'cos they can.
Amen on the Berg.I good cabinet maker with the proper design can get good results with mixed drivers in one box.
Hence your Traynor, and my Berg.
I think my Spector has a wee bit of the Irish in him...Some Green things, because I can.
