Cloudlifters are awesome! I got a regular CL-1 and a CL-Z. Only tried the Z so far.
If you’re unfamiliar, a Cloudlifter or similar product adds 25db of very clean gain before your mic goes to your pre amp. Especially useful for ribbon mics or low output condensers like the Shure SM7b. Adds tons of clean gain which lowers the noise floor and really opens the mics up. The CL-Z is the fancier version

It has a low cut filter, variable impedance and two different output stages. The variable impedance was really cool because you can find optimal impedance for a given mic, or purposely use too low or too high of an impedance to shape the tonal characteristics of the mic. Too low made the Stager sound darker and too high thins it out a little and makes the mic brighter. Seriously cool bit of kit for not a lot of dough
