Wasn't even about basses, or sex, politics, or religion for that matter. Is it humorous fun? I do occasionally enjoy honking off the 7ender boys in their white hats![]()
I narrowly missed a chance to come out to Seattle for work. My company needed a few helpers out there for 2 weeks, I was going to come visit youIs it humorous fun? I do occasionally enjoy honking off the 7ender boys in their white hats![]()

At least over here no one gets butt hurt about grammar or glue sniffing jokes.
Yes I will admit that had an odd and intentional connotation to itLol, "the general population"... There's an excerpt from my daily life...
Damage during shipping isn't impossible if it went via UPS. Certain sorting facilities have been known to have employees who get their jollies by stealing or intentionally damaging items. Fontana in SCal is notoriously bad. Just sayin'So here's the bottom line on the Laguna Ocean, I'm fairly well convinced the guy is a scammer and he got over on me because I just don't want to be bothered with a return and even though there's a prominent scratch on the front of this "pristine" bass I've decided to settle for a partial refund. The scratches on the back are way worse than the one long scratch on the front and I accepted a 30% refund(already PayPal'ed) to put this to rest. He still claims that the scratches happened during shipment which is impossible but that's his story and he's sticking to it. This is only the second time I've ever been scammed in my 14 years on eBay so that's not too bad. The 30% off still puts this bass about $100 more than I'd have paid in person but I do like the way it plays and the bass isn't a total disaster.
So, does anyone know how to raise the scratches on a natural finish bass so they can be leveled? Youtube here I come!
There's a bunch of us out here. It must be the water. Bear Wizz beer - it's in the water. That's why it's yellow...I narrowly missed a chance to come out to Seattle for work. My company needed a few helpers out there for 2 weeks, I was going to come visit you
The odd ball sense of humor in here is awesome. There's a bunch of us out here. It must be the water. Bear Wizz beer - it's in the water. That's why it's yellow...
I hate it when the sense of humor leaks out.
And now with the bridge cover on. I mismeasured, so I had to curve it a little to fit on over the raised center part on the body properly. I need to curve it just a little more to relieve tension, but I like the way it sits curved, actually. That black pickup really looks out of place now. Gotta do something about it! On the other hand, the chrome pickups with trim rings look so good I might take the covers off when that all gets sorted out.
You can really see the pick scuffs on the upper bout in this picture, even though it's a grainy cell phone photo. This bass is a player through and through.
Never mind the 7ender behind the 'Bird. It's a Squier, it's a mongrel, and it's got six little strings, so I figure it's OK.View attachment 742633
"Dial" might be even better.Paint the word "Hershey" on the bridge pup and see who notices
Might be too complicated for the record buying public, but I like it!"Dial" might be even better.
Guys I finaly got the pro iv in trans black tomorrow i going to post Some pics
All my straps have dunlop straplocks installed and my other bass too is there a problem with this straplocks and the tbird? OR I can install it (I ask cause is the first bass I had with the button in the rear body)
Thanks!

It has been spoken, you know what you must doI wonder how cool a radical steam-punk treatment/mod would be on a Thunderbird... Seems all there is left, really, that would let it still be what it is. In other words, it's kind of asking for it...
