Thank you! I filed a police report and have been contacting local pawns, so hopefully if it's brought in it'll ping their systems. I'v also contacted just about every guitar shop between Sherman Oaks and Anaheim providing pictures and serial numbers. I'm also going to swing by swap meets this weekend on the off-chance it shows up there. Currently offering a $500 reward for its safe return, fingers crossed.

Took the bird to the shop (guitar doctor in Lancaster, PA.....Dan Erlewine recommended him). My 6 months of having it clamped in a backbow had no effect because I didn’t loosen the truss rod nut (duh....). He is going to clamp it in a back bow and add heat for a couple weeks and then we’ll reevaluate.

A cycling friend found his stollen high-end road bike at a local swap-meet/flea-market. The encounter was a funny story, but he got it back. Other than it being sold on craigslist or from the trunk of a car, it's worth a few visits. I've had a bass stollen many years ago - sucks. Best of luck recovering yours.

Most of the beers I drink come from brewers that have limited production capacity and so you get beer that goes in and out of rotation. Sure, the beer gets swapped out frequently. But, you guessed it, sometimes we’d get people that expected to see some kind of spinning dispenser of beer. Which would actually be sort of cool.

That sucks. Sorry to hear it. Another band will come along and it will be better anyway.

I hope you get it back. There's nothing worse than losing a body part like that.

I've had three stolen, a 72 P, a 76 J and a Bicentennial Bird.....people that steal musical instruments should be sent to a penal colony in Antarctica..
