Thunderbird Club

I sometimes (ok, often) watch a cooking show that has episodes with different countries expats showing off a few things from their country. They are repeats but they had the USA on the other day. I was a bit horrified by the deep fried Thanksgiving Turkey, but was quite taken by the Jambalaya. Wow, that looks delicious. Or is that just my tiny piece of Creole heritage peeking through? Anyway, looking at a few recipes, may have a go at it.

While Jambalaya has a few 'requirements', the rest is to taste. Go crazy with it.

You haven’t lived until you’ve had deep fried Snickers bars.

Jambalaya is the bomb. I sometimes eat it in a bread bowl for max carbo load.
