Oh, well. I'll have a Burgundy Mist '91 one of these days. I just got an email that says the hot color for 2019 is some kind of pink that's not too far from Burgundy Mist. Turns out even iconoclasts are slaves to fashion. I hate it when that happens!
Didn't mean to stoke the fire. Doesn't help my cause any as well.
I had some dough secretly stashed away with my eyes peeled for such a thing to come along.
But with the whole apartment thing, that's where the money is now going.

No worries about that. We are here to enable, and that looks like a good one at a very good price, based on what I have seen on Reverb lately. I would like to have an early '60s and a Bicentennial, but there are a lot of things I would like to have out there. I can't imagine that either one would get played any more than the '01 or probably the '91 once it's back and reassembled.
Do you mean that will be a special color for a Thunderbird this year? If so, I might have to wait a minute and see how it looks. I'm a fan of Burgundy Mist.
Same for me. I enjoy all three, but a good Etouffee is heaven!!!
He can't ship Ernie Ball product outside the US. That's OK, I didn't want them anyway.

Oh, there goes the rumor! No, I seriously doubt that Gibson would do anything of the sort. It was an article about things like lipstick color, handbags, and women's shoes. Come to think of it, that's not so far off around here, but nothing to do with anything Gibson might offer.
If you want a Burgundy Mist 'Bird, I plan to post photos as soon as it's back in my hands and reassembled. And, I'm very happy to point you to the guy who did the work if it comes out as good as it looks like it will.
