Thunderbird Club

For @dukeorock

12 bar blues in F I think...

The Duke's got, the psych ward blues,
Oh the Duke's got, the psych ward blues,
He's going home to play with ribbon mikes,
And take T Bird pictures with his shoes.

Catchy. Based on a true story. I can dig it.

The only residual drag is I still have a tube coming from my innards to a receptacle on the outside as they’re trying to pull every last bit of infection out of there. I can’t get that taken out for another week or so. I told the doctor “man, I can’t book any gigs with that awful thing hanging out of me!” He made a huge, exaggerated smile and said, “Oh, that’s right! I guess you can’t!”
He then took on a more serious face and informed me he would be deciding when I’m ready to play, not the other way around. Smug bastard

Maybe you can join GWAR in the meantime?

Ken, the plastic casing on TB Plus pickups peels off very easily with a pair of Xuron cutters, I could strip one clean in about 3 minutes. Model 2175 is perfect for the job, and it'll take care of any difficult toenails too.

Excellent! But come on, a belt sander would be a hell of a lot more fun. :)

He must have shoe cams. Even Agent 86 never had those.

GoPro...

Only the facts have been changed to protect the guilty... :D

Pffffft. Doctors; like they know anything. They spend all those years in school because they are too busy partying to learn anything.

Infection can turn nasty, even when you think you are done. Take it easy and take things a little bit at a time.

I was thinking Alice Cooper, but GWAR is a better fit.

If you like pickups shooting across the room as you lose your grip on them - I concur, belt sander!

Are they at least going to let you keep the tube and receptacle as a lovely souvenir?

Duke - I know you're probably not in the best of spirits but here's some light hearted fun (at your expense).
Maybe you can figure out a way to incorporate that receptacle they have hanging on you into a unique version of this song...

Maybe even bust out some cool James Brown moves for the act. :smug:

Hang in there brother, sounds like you're making progress.
