Thunderbird Club

Oh I didn’t get what you guys were talking about. I grew up listening to Sabbath. Every album has some light music to cleanse your “aural palate” for more heavy stuff.

Yeah, but the stuff on 1-3 is completely different than this. Ick pop keys. (shudders) Don't try to cleanse my palette with bleach!

I was at the one in Kissimmee,FL, Saturday about 9 P.M.-line went out the door. They have a new Key Lime filled and a maple glazed.Mmmmmmmmmmm:):):hyper:

First R&R band I ever heard, the album was Paranoid, the song was Iron Man. My life was never the same after that! Absolutely Love this band!

I'd been listening to rock a few years when I heard Paranoid or Iron Man (probably Paranoid) for the first time, and was instantly a Sabbath fan. Their first three albums are still in rotation for me. I will note that their first two are *wonderful* with NO2. (I'm a big fan of music at the dentist's office if they're doing anything more than cleaning, and NO2 for anything the least bit serious.)

Some pics from my weekend, more to come at some point.
Had a few hours to spare and visited Salt Creek on the Olympic Peninsula, it's a park and historic site.

The coast can be pretty rugged here, the waves were coming in nicely as there was a steady wind.

Very interesting how these rocks had worn

Before WWI and leading up to WWII this portion of the coast (and Vancouver Island) were fortified with a series of interlaced gun emplacements set into the landscape as this one was, you can see the ring of the position around the Subie, note the shells on the left.

Here's a "seastack" in a little bay, note the person to the left for scale.

Looking over my shoulder at work, had a great trip! Saw lots of old friends, made some nice $$$ and @$$ dragged home today. Likely will have lots more from these shows later.

Same! I kept on having her turn it up more and more because I wasn't feeling anything, then it felt like my feet were coming up over my head. Good times.

I think the vile imp @Dr_Feelgoood212 is a fan of NO2 also. But automotive uses rather than anesthesia...

Everything I know about GoT:
  • Everyone seems to be fighting to sit on the Iron Throne. I'm guessing that's not a toilet[1]. It may be made of swords, based on a Bloom County comic I saw.
  • Rape and murder seem to be the preferred methods of social intercourse (sic, ahem) of most people who have any connection (much less aspiration) to the Iron Throne.
  • Someone who has survived longer than most, named Denares (sp?) snapped and changed her name recently to Psycho Killer, Keska Say.
  • Dragons.
  • Gollum and Kylo Ren took over writing duties for the final season, and all the fans are royally pissed.

[1] I really, really hope it says Crapper somewhere on it, perhaps inscribed on a sword.
The only thing I can add is that apparently the female characters take off their clothes sometimes. I approve of that.
