Some pics from my weekend, more to come at some point.
Had a few hours to spare and visited Salt Creek on the Olympic Peninsula, it's a park and historic site.
The coast can be pretty rugged here, the waves were coming in nicely as there was a steady wind.

Before WWI and leading up to WWII this portion of the coast (and Vancouver Island) were fortified with a series of interlaced gun emplacements set into the landscape as this one was, you can see the ring of the position around the Subie, note the shells on the left.
Here's a "seastack" in a little bay, note the person to the left for scale.
Looking over my shoulder at work, had a great trip! Saw lots of old friends, made some nice $$$ and @$$ dragged home today. Likely will have lots more from these shows later.
