Thunderbird Club

Been quite a while since that happened. There was a seller on eBay that had all kinds of excess parts from a Gibson factory. The parts were for quite a few models and but of course the Bird bits were what most of us seemed to focus on. I still have 3 sets of the empty nickle pickup cans with rings as well as 2 vintage RD Artist pickguards. I believe our Queen killed a pickup drilling for the 3rd hole (Ahem!!) and others learned from this and only used the bottom corner screw holes. @godofthunder59 @TBird1958 do you remember how long ago all of this occurred?
Good 5-7 years ago maybe longer

So this just happened, had a spare set of vintage style reverse clover leafs in the parts box.

You had hippies in the garage? Yeah, burning is the best solution then, otherwise they might get into the house and squat there.
There's been an incident of accidentally lighting a random hippie on fire around here, too. Funny how well blonde dreads light up. He was kinda surprised. Burning hippie leads to doused hippie. That evening was a lot of fun, in an improvised kind of way. We never did figure out where that guy came from or where he went afterwards.

And thanks, it's a treasure that I've only lately come to really appreciate. We got dumb-lucky, no one who's in authority in our town seems to care or be educated at all on the history of the place.
Rhode Island.
My father was from Pascoe RI. He never quite lost the accent.
It wasn’t until I was older that I realized that the sharp, pointy fencing material wasn’t called “Bobbed Wire”.

 I've lived in S FL all my life, but with all the northeasterners down here, same thing.

Burning Man, local edition.

If he was from Ohio, it would be "bob woure." It takes years of effort to get rid of a rural Ohio twang, and even then, it sneaks back at inopportune times.

I'd say Pascoe is right up the road from our house, but in Rhode Island everything is...

Edit... it's spelled "Pascoag", but I knew that... someone spelled it correctly after me. Doh.
