Hey, I hadn't gotten to the future where it was covered yet! Apparently there's a Tardis shortage so I have to get there the old-fashioned way with linear, constant velocity time.

Like it. Stanley from the Frampton Comes Alive days. Well the playing not the robe thing.
After we cut 3 songs, Mark’s band got sent home so they could set up for the evening session. All A List top tier musicians...and me, for some inexplicable reason. Kenny normally uses Michael Rhoades on bass, so it was intimidating to say the least.
When I saw them he played an old Epi Embassy like mine below most of the night, and the Lull on a few. The Epi has the same PUPs as the early T-birds. So he's into that T-Bird sound at to moment. He Duke! Is that the Michael Rhoades that plays with Bonamassa? Saw him in November. Played a Lull Bird a few songs.
About the last bass on my bucket list to own......Seeing how it's TBird Thursday. I believe this NR would match all of @GonePlaid's requirements.

And is that 4 wraps I see around the tuners?
I had tickets to see them, sadly Gary passed away before the show, I too really liked his playing and a lot of Uriah Heep's music from that time, Stealin' being an all time fave. That fact that they just let Gary pedal some simple notes for the first third of the song made the whole thing so much more powerful when the rest of the band kicks in, it's certainly Mick Box's signature guitar solo and lyrically has the best lines of any Heep song - ,"Take me across the water, cause I need someplace to hide, I done the rancher's daughter, and I sure did hurt his pride", and later, "Stood on a ridge and shunned religion, thinkin' the world was mine, I made my break and a big mistake, stealin' when I shoulda been buyin'
For me, that's Rock lyrics at it's best.
Honestly on the wrapping of the strings around the tuners I couldn't tell you - Nor do I pay much attention to it other than cutting off what I consider excess length when I'm restringing - Probably a gross sin in somebody's book, not mine![]()
