Thanks Kat, and I get that. I just need to slow it down a notch, starting to drop the ball here and there- it's no good, I hate screwing things like this up.
Lol, the wife's noticed we're starting to run low on dishes...
Brain gets full and then odd things happen.

Anyone ever vinyl-wrapped a pickup? Google gives me pictures of trucks. Thinking about (one day) turning a cream plastic pickup black.

No I don't have one yet.

It's cool Roger, it's no thing. I'm waiting for one to come in at a local shop -- it's good that it will have an Australian warranty (just in case).

And Australian power supply

You need to find someone with a white JC that wants to swap. You get to blackout the ebony JC, they get to white (cream?) out the ivory JC.

May not be as easy done in practice

I'll be finding out soon enough, the big D(allas) is my destination on 6/19 - Lighting Trade show.

The airport hotels at DFW do a good business in trade shows - they are big and well organized for it. The airport is well connected to bring in a lot of people with direct flights. The downside is that you are way out of town and end up being almost a prisoner at the hotel. I am fortunate in that I found this out attending a one day meeting.

Great basses. So growly in the lo mids. Strange to me that they aren't more popular. Maybe because they aren't available with tort?

The white, blue, and red ones all have black p/u. Parts are available from Epiphone to dealers/techs. Wonder if the p/u case can just be swapped. There is no access to the interior from the back, everything has to be fished through the existing holes. You could do it yourself, but for my sanity, I would have someone else do it.

I'm going to end up with one of those JCs.

Have actually looked for the pups online but there's nothing doing.

Just back from three hour rehearsal. On my feet with the Cataldo NR41 the whole time and barely felt the weight of it. Our new drummer is fantastic -- no idea how he gets around some of his fills in the time available. Markbass and Hartke 410 tonight. Me and that cabinet just do not get on.
That's great. Amps you can easily swap out. Drummers not so much.
