I have documentation but it can only be shown in my secure bunker, and discussed using the Cone of Silence.

But you have some great breweries, namely Jester King and Pinthouse Pizza.Just so you drive friendly and learn the local rules (unwritten as well). Traffic has really gone to hell the past few years.
Also, realize that we also have a growing [lack of] water problem here.
More proof of the story's truth, if that was even necessary. I'm completely convinced now. Also, in hiding, but that's another subject for another thread.I have documentation but it can only be shown in my secure bunker, and discussed using the Cone of Silence.
whoa...where did you get this info? fascinating stuff..L’Industrielle des Telephones was a very short-lived company involved in an attempted coup of the French Ministry of Posts and Telegraphs in 1938. Self-styled revolutionaries ran around with miniature guillotines cutting telephone cords at businesses. The coup attempt fizzled when irate wine merchants and sommeliers refused to sell to the perpetrators.
The coup core did have technical chops! To get more bandwidth per wire, they used mics with 1/10th the frequency range of the typical carbon mics used in phone systems. They used ribbon mics to improve call quality within the narrower spectrum. They then used frequency modulated multiplexing to allow 10 calls in the same frequency space serving one call. There were minor cross-talk issues.
Sadly, the core group had zero manufacturing expertise, and the mics tended to develop floppy ribbons as they aged, along with loose or saggy transformers. They also require lubrication (coconut oil recommended) of the ribbon mount hinge points or they squeak and wear out.
The seven surviving mics were owned by the children of the seven men and women who led the coup. Two are now in museums, three are in the hands of private collectors, one was acquired by the Surete’ for reasons unknown, and one was stolen and a bounty offered for the head of whoever possesses it. You’re a brave man to post in public about this!
G....just checked...love that section (starts in C right?).....more involved than the guitar solo itself...![]()
Doesn't matter what you or I think. It only matters what a court thinks.I don’t, either, but I do question their apparently letting it go for 40 years.
See my post about documentation.whoa...where did you get this info? fascinating stuff..
Blofeld was felled by a blow from a harmonica?Well, yeah, but it fired a poison dart when he hit a G#-or an Ab. I forget which.![]()
Well played.Blofeld was felled by a blow from a harmonica?
Yes, but it was Sloved Dovewing's harmonica, not Jacques Bond's.Blofeld was felled by a blow from a harmonica?
Looks unique. There might be somebody over here who can help...We haven't discussed ribbon microphones for a while. So, it's time. I made a lowball offer on a weird French one that looks like a green bullet, only bigger and squashed. It sounds all quacky and awful, so it's going to get repaired. But, in the interest in reviving the fact that this is sometimes the Thunderbird and Ribbon Mic and Muscle Car and Subaru Club, here are some pictures of the mic. The ribbon appears saggy, which might be the reason it sounds awful. It may also be due to a crappy transformer or who knows what all else that can go wrong in a ribbon microphone. I like ribbon mics, as you all know, but I especially like cardioid ribbon mics. They are oddities, which means I can't resist when something like this comes along for cheap enough.View attachment 3458454 View attachment 3458455 View attachment 3458456 View attachment 3458457 View attachment 3458459
I cannot find any internet information about it at all, which means it probably doesn't exist. I bought a hologram of a mic! If anybody has an inkling of what it is, say so. Or make up a bunch of stuff and I'll believe it's all true.
That looks interesting, but it's Facebook, and I don't have an account there these days.Looks unique. There might be somebody over here who can help...

Yeah the keys play the riff and then he switches to bass and alters it. I don’t even hear the guitar solo during that part because the bass line is so cool!love that section (starts in C right?).....more involved than the guitar solo itself...![]()
Just make a fake FB account. It’s not like they will shut it down. That looks interesting, but it's Facebook, and I don't have an account there these days.
