Excellent.Thanks.I'm trying to find the photo I saw, but the way they secured the body wings (these were neck-through) was with rope wrapped around it.
This is all I can find. Maybe it's what I originally saw.Excellent.
The worst car ever built. Bar none. But if you were the cabbie driving one and a person with a bass or cello needs a cab, you were going to get the fare. All else was awful.
Lol, I like those too!
Whatcha drinking?Today is National IPA Day.
NBD!!! New Bird Day!!!
A new bird has entered the flock. But it's an Eagle! 1976 BC Rich Eagle. I'd been eyeing this for a long time but couldn't justify the price, but the planets suddenly aligned for me last week and I grabbed it. All original, including the case. All mahogany, original Badass bridge, and really early Bartolini Hi-A pickups. I always loved the Eagle body style and am so happy to have been able to get this. Very light, too. Exactly 8 lbs. Taking it to Mas Hino tomorrow to get it properly examined and set up. And I'll replace whatever these strings are with SIT.

I have to say I am blown away by this thing, I've owned a few birds over the years, I forgot how good and fast that ebony neck can be, how thunderous those pickups are. Finish is impeccable.

the Eagle was by far my favorite of the original three (Bich, Mockingbird) body shapes....nice going
Yep. They suck.Aside from having no reasonable suspension at all. It's still a cool one. @Gaolee has some experience with those. I think.
Time to head for the market, then. I didn't know and I am out. It is a flaw.Whatcha drinking?Today is National IPA Day.
The one from Russia has landed! It looks even better in your pictures.![]()

Don't forget the Seagull. Such a weird one. It evolved into the Eagle.the Eagle was by far my favorite of the original three (Bich, Mockingbird) body shapes....nice going..
had never seen or heard of that model....glad you mentioned it....definitely cool..Don't forget the Seagull. Such a weird one. It evolved into the Eagle.
was going to ask you about what the knobs and switches do..
Still not totally sure. The pickups are passive. The 9v battery in there is apparently just for a boost. Everything except for one switch works, so that must be boost. The battery is dead. There's coil splitting or tapping going on. I'll try to figure it all out, but I'll just probably end up settling on what sounds the best to me.was going to ask you about what the knobs and switches do..
