Thunderbird Club

Other than moving the strap lock to the neck plate what can be done about head dive ?
I move the rear strap button from the butt-end of the body to the back of the body, just inside the belly-curve and mid-way or so up the length of the body.

It sounds weird, looks odd and feels a good bit different... The headstock is now closer to you and the neck-dive is gone. I started doing this when I had a problem with my wrist a few years ago. This a charm for me.

I have been tweaking my Epi Classic Pro Thunderbird. My OCD couldn't handle the plastic plate over the bridge pickup route so I bought a cover off ebay and installed it in the bridge position and have it cranked down low. Works for me! Ugh best I can do with my phone better pictures tomorrow!

Very nice. Are they the Hong Kongbuckers, Scott?
Still waiting on my pair- something about China Post stopping them because they are magnetic. Another set sent yesterday.

While I am a Nonreverse guy it doesn't mean I have not lusted after the Reverse. My first was a Tobacco Burst 76' bought that same year soon to be followed by my first NR. In the end the NR was for me but thanks to Entwistle, Martin Turner and Overend I still a have a very soft spot for the reverse.

What's even better is when the grippy strap pulls the back of your shirt up and you get a cool breeze.

With certain skirts and basses.....they ride up and pretty soon I'm showing off a lot more "leg" that I want to...:roflmao:
