for use with your THUNDERBIRD.
Aw, man! Where's the "Prize Patrol" when I need them? [They said they were coming- I also believe in the Easter bunny and the Great Pumpkin]

And every time, tell the drummer what it is.
"It's a vintage Silvertone amp in case guitar; I just tuned it really low."
"It's a plexiglass Danelectro Longhorn!"
"It's a 1967 Rickenbacker Lightshow Lemmy Special."
"I made this. I took the wood from the shells of a $12,000 vintage Ludwig drum kit that once belonged to (their favorite drummer). The strings are made from the private parts of a dozen drummers, plated with their fillings. It's needing new strings, can I count on your contribution?"
Sicko post of the day. Top that Pillo!

It used to. When I was a kid growing up in Walla Walla, my dad and I would dial in stations from from who knows where. It has tubes and these funky metal sleeves that reminded me of my sisters curlers. I remember the tube or whatever it is above the glass glowing green when it warmed up.The cabinet, glass and chassis all seem to be in good shape. Most of the tubes and a few of the sleeves are there. The power cord and speaker cable are quite frayed. Made certain to keep it when cleaning out the place and getting it ready to sell. Have always intended to clean it up, never have gotten to it. Good mojo for the man cave. Thanks for asking.

FWIW, early 7ender Bassman's had those metal tube sleeves for the 12ax7's. I played my THUNDERBIRD through one of those amps.1963-Fender-Bassman-004.jpg

If you lived nearby, I’d offer to fix that for you.
