Thunderbird Club

...is that foreshadowing, or is it an attempt to drive @PillO nutz:roflmao:

But now that I’m here and looking at your wonderful black Tbird on THUNDERBIRD Thursday I’ll add some fuel to the fire...

...and before @PillO brings it up, yes that is a Gary Larson book in the background. LOL - looking at @fasterpussycat reading list you’ll find all kinds of thought provoking political science and philosophy materials. I’ve got Far Side cartoons, kinda says a lot. :D
The Weiner Dog Art book is one of my favourites.

Five quick observations...
1. Nice looking birds!
2. Great cross section of reading material, something for everybody!
3. You so need to off the sword and convert that suit of armor into a stand for one of your birds!
4. Heck of a distortion pedal you've got there!
5. Never tried the escape challenge, was it fun?

This is what I found when I opened my Gibson control cavity.

I don’t have an “after” shot, but it was no worse after I dropped the Lollars in.
That shows the shielding that was not apparent in the "limited edition" Thunderbird. Its wiring was far neater, but it did not look quite right to me.

My friend used to own an Epi Elitist Thunderbird that was very nice. The purple lining in the case was a very nice touch.
Well crap. I now have GAS. No room, need, or budget, but there it is. Or maybe just a CP to get refinished some outrageous color.

[Edit - I meant VP. For the big headstock]
