I like narrow string spacing, so I have my E and G saddles pushed all the way towards the middle, then the A and D evenly-spaced relative to them. I could do without it, but I like it. I got used to narrow spacing from when I played a Danelectro.
When you test drive a car, you don't open the glove compartment either I bet.
Whereas I am a card carrying member of the "wonder what this button does" club.
Going through a furniture store, I will open every drawer I walk past.I normally do. Not sure why I didn't on this one.
Don’t forget to add Bud Light. That’s a big part of “new” country music, hick hop or whatever the Hell they are calling it nowadays.Modern country. Which is really pop with twangy guitars, trains instead of cars, and prison in lieu of oppressive parents/bosses.
This is probably a stupid comparison but Crobot seems like a gritty version of Rival Sons without the grandeur and self-importance (I don't know if that even makes sense). In other words, I like the Crobot feel/sound better.

Does anyone else love Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet? I absolutely loved Reid Diamond (the original bassist); and the new guy Dallas Good is great too - and I love that he kept up the Thunderbird tradition with the band as well. This IS the tone I strive for when I play instrumental surf on my T-Bird.
Getting arrested during a performance worked out well for Jim Morrison and the Doors...And get arrested....

That sucks. My life as a Gothic novel, Chapter 387. Venue for forthcoming Thunderbird outing has closed down.
This was caused by a serious disagreement between the pub owners and the Valve Bar people (they run it in the basement). They are planning to reopen when they find a new venue but that could be next year.

It’s most definitely a gorgeous Bird!I just saw them last year open for Yo La Tengo. I was pleasantly surprised to see the Bicentennial Thunderbird.
That sucks.
The demise of Sydney live venues continues...
