In some cases no doubt. I have something approaching contempt for some artists (and various other kinds of people) and it has nothing to do with jealously or their talent for that matter. Generally it's an attitude thing on their part. There are a lot of things other than jealousy that can earn my disdain.![]()
Just because...........

Would make a neat addition to the collection, but I'm keeping my powder dry for an Eppi NR VP in shoreline gold if possible, with all Nickel hardware, oh and an antique white pick guard and vintage looking hard case for $1000 or less.Interesting FSO that just posted in the Classifieds. Can’t justify it, but the Lulls are intriguing. Maybe someone here might be interested. It’s in L.A. Hey, @GBassNorth[/USER] this would look good on your wall...For Sale - Mike Lull JT4 Mint
Wouldn't know what to do with all those knobs and pickups.

But I thought maybe someone like Cataldo could do you a short scale Bird?
Just a suggestion. Black pickguard with a white Thunderbird like Suzanne Summers drove in American Graffiti.
Got ya. My wife caught my looking at that bass. She asked “why do you keep looking at pictures of guitars, you have enough.” All I could reply with was “at least it isn’t porn.” I need to chill with buying for a bit.Would make a neat addition to the collection, but I'm keeping my powder dry for an Eppi NR VP in shoreline gold if possible, with all Nickel hardware, oh and an antique white pick guard and vintage looking hard case for $1000 or less.![]()
2019? Attacked? What, me worry? Alfred E. would have been unstoppable with a Thunderbird. It's 2019; I think I'm supposed to feel attacked. But I'm just going to keep making THUNDER with my Epi BIRD!

Lol thanks! She is pretty rough. I bought this basket case about 11 years ago, she came with no Gibson parts and a failed replaced headstock and a caved in control cavity. It took me about a year to find all the parts and put it right, the bass quickly became my main stage bass so I could semi retire my '68 NR my main bass since '78 or so.borrowed Scotts pic of his lovely bird - posted on my thread SHOW YOUR DISTRESSED FINISHES!
