Thunderbird Club

I did for a very short while, started again. You know the cycle. But i sincerely appreciate your advice. :)
There is no substitute for cold turkey ( with bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayo on rye ). Good luck quitting though! It's a tough addition to break. My dad did it cold turkey - the patches and the gums and e-cigs just keep you addicted to nicotine in the long run.

If you quit smoking you could fund another Bird!

Today is October 9, 2019.
A quick google search showed that a pack of Marlboro's cost $14 in NYC.
As of today, Sweetwater is selling Tbirds at $2299.
Assuming that you smoke a pack a day, if you quit tomorrow and start saving that $14 a day, 165 days from tomorrow, on March 23, 2020, you'll have enough to pay cash for a new Bird

I'm bored and should do some work :bored:

There's always another Thunderbird. Or a Fenderbird - I built one that's a P in all but shape. It is not an original '60s P though. Are you going to show us pictures of your P? You know that's required around here!

Can I post a P Bass here?

I smoke less than 10 rolled cigarettes per day because I want to - I limit myself, and it's been thus way since 7 years (but I didn't smoke for 4years).
Usually around 5-6. A few more when I'm out on the weekend with friends, or out for live music.

Rolled cigarettes cost less than pre-made cigarettes, and have better taste. A 30g pack (rolling tobacco) here costs 6.40€, 0.60€ for a pack of 60 leaves and 1.50€ for a pack of 120 small filters.

Leaving "healthiness" topic apart, it's quite sustainable for me at the moment.

It seems that the only time i'm successful at it is going cold turkey. And it works every time i've done that.

hmm... ok... so:
7(10 x 5-6)/30g(60/(6.40+.60+1.50/120) x € + $ =
.... calculating....

Is it that you maybe have a beer, or a cocktail, and a "cigarette would go SO GOOD with that" type of thing? I'm not being sarcastic - I'm really trying to help you quit - permanently!!!! Also, have you tried hypnosis?

A little bit of that. There were also stressful family events last year. blah, blah. But i haven't tried the hypnosis thing.
