I agree - as a solution I made a very light bass (7lbs/14oz) using 2 T-40 pu's with both coils split so they can be switched into multiple combinations.

Considering how the music biz does things at that level (always budget related) I can imagine an exec coming up with a "concept" to have her seated in a swivel chair with one stationary camera and everyone around him saying "genius!"

Okay, I get it, not everybody (including me) wants or needs Milk Chocalate, but to say "it's not for Girls" on the package?

Yea. I flipped 21st on the table plenty. Maybe others who grew up in SoCal have a different memory of King Crimson on the air. Yes got plenty of AOR play, as did ELP when Lake left Crimson to form ELP. Genesis started getting regular play with “Selling England.” The two AOR stations, KMET and KLOS, were just “ok” for proggers, with the former probably playing more of it. It was tons of Doors (it was LA after all), Zepplin, Sabbath and a reach back to In A Godda when the DJ needed a long toke break. And a fair bit of Bowie, The Underground and Lou Reed. I changed stations if Elton John came on. I was huge into vinyl and an early cassette deck owner so maybe I spent less time with radio than some.

The station was around 93 or 94 point something. Prolly Espanol now.Which doesn't matter to me, I have Little Steven's Underground Garage.
On another note, played an outdoor fall festival thing-y today on my 67 THUNDERBIRD :bassist:>Rumble 200c. Sounded choice:thumbsup:

I like it, however.............

The neck has a pretty real bow to it, so the action is ridiculous, one of the pickup bezels is also cracked, not the end of the world, the pics just didn't show that. I'm going to ponder for a couple days and *may* take it up to Mike Lull and see what he thinks on Thursday. Soundwise the pickups are hot (mine may be too close to the strings) and get a bit wooly when played finger style, lots of growl with a pick. I haven't played it through the SWR yet as I've been at work and busy, plus the GK is upstairs and I can't move it without help right now, can't pick up anything more than 10lbs now as I'm recovering from surgery last week. it's tough being a Queen!
