Thunderbird Club

-5°C Pffft.

I spent 4 years in Petawawa (just a 45 minute drive from Ottawa (get a map or Google maps)). It was routinely -40C/F (the same in both scales) overnight. If you didn't plug in your block heater at night, your car wasn't going anywhere in the morning.
Ehh, no thanks.

-5°C Pffft.

As I said that was noticably 'warm'. We were routinely down to -10°C or -15°C, think there were even one or two -20°Cs. There was a spot (ironically outside the Royal College of Surgeons) where the snow had partially thawed then refrozen into a glassy moonscape that was terrifying to cross -- walk like a pensioner. Usually Edinburgh had three days of snow, thawed, then back to dreich normality.

Well, since there is popular demand...

Be afraid in the watermelon patch! It is where aliens come from!

Never seen an alien before and the first one I see is drowning in cherry brandy.

Like Seattle. It rarely freezes at sea level here.

I'll still give that a Pffft. Routinely -40 and colder at night. Highs that didn't break -20 during the day. And we went on exercise in that weather. Sleeping under canvas, doing everything outside without heaters.

I think GC has this labeled wrong....I think its a VP. I'd jump on it if I wanted to get divorced...:roflmao:

I will point out that it appears to be a very good deal on a VP. The sort of deal that doesn't come along very often. Conversely, you can easily find another spouse... Perhaps you might be interested in some more of my bad marriage advice?

Agree the price is very good!

I appreciate the offer but I have lot of sources for bad marriage advice here locally...;)

No, that is a later model. VF, not VFR. I will dig up a pic.

This one - the VF was an earlier model. The 750F was '90-'93; '90-red/'91-red/'92-black/'93-pearl white - at least in the US. I have seen a dark blue one - euro only most likely.
