This one - the VF was an earlier model. The 750F was '90-'93; '90-red/'91-red/'92-black/'93-pearl white - at least in the US. I have seen a dark blue one - euro only most likely.

Saw Sammy just after he released his first album (after leaving Montrose). He opened for Eddy Money who opened for Boston. In fact, he was such a unknown person he walked out in the concourse to and got a drink and we talk a little and joked about what we were drinking. Must not have been meaningful conversation for him. Never been invited to his house!

Well, if it gets returned by you because it doesn't play well or work out well, chances are 1. It's not coming back to a store in Mass and 2. I would probably reject it for the same issues that you found

I was tempted, but (a) I need to get a better amp first and (b) we're about to do a push on the books and marketing costs money, too. That looked a steal!

We'll see. I'm not wanting to get my hopes up in it being in "great" shape as indicated. I'm a skeptic by nature, but sure am hopeful. Even if not in great shape, it still seems like a good buy. As long as there are not funky neck bows or twists all should be well. It's a chance worth taking.
