Thanks. But thats a bad pic. I’m no JJR. It’s bluer in good light. But for a bass that wasn’t expensive at all when it was first sold in ‘07, it is truly wonderful.nice colour

We're not all the same. I'm a native Miamian so of course my favorite spectator sport is hockey.

I have very little interest in any sports. I can watch hockey and understand/enjoy it, actually used to listen to games when driving, but I don’t really care.

Any opinion here on using GHS Heavy Boomers on a Gibby TB?
Will the neck be good with the heavy gauge? I still got a set araound at home but am kinda turned off by the general comments on boomers (short life, mehh tone)

The guy that's doing our sound now has a lot of technical knowledge but doesn't seem to understand what music sounds like or should sound like (I realize there are some subjectivity here). And doesn't seem interested in what the musicians playing it think they should sound like. My bass has a very small thin sound in the mains. This is why I won't give up my Ampeg head and 410 Heritage cabinet! I'm waiting for an opportunity to have somebody else play bass and I can go out and listen for a minute. I am looking for an opportunity to ask the sound guy, "Is there a reason my bass doesn't sound like my bass in the FOH?"
