This is completely off-topic, but I was wondering if the rest of you guys have the same issue with the TalkBass app on iPhone as I do:

The last post on Page 68 is post 1353 - when I go to Page 69 the first post is post 1361...

The posts in between post 1353 and post 1361 seems to be missing...

This seems to happen to me quite frequently, following different threads with the app...

I only use the app, not the desktop, everything seems fine to me..

I am a MASSIVE System of a down fan! And when I seen this bass and heard it with the Ampeg (first two/three albums) then Ashdown for the last two, I knew I had to have one!

Interesting EMG's..........But ( and you can throw stones if you must) I gotta have Chrome covers and a vintage (or repro) pup, that's just me tho. I actually don't have a Post '88 Gibson with stock pickups or hardware! My Jackson does have a set of active EMG's and I do like it, but one bass like that is enough.


Carlo, WoW! I'd say that IS the high rent district!!!

Yeah it was an Biersack thing hahaha. And to answer your question, i discovered thunderbirds through none only than...Nikki Sixx. Huge Motley fan, and my dad's told me a couple times i have a heavy picking hand like Sixx. Pretty awesome. Although i discovered sixx with the hamer birds and so forth, it was still pretty rad. Plus that my dad had gotten himself the gibson blackbird years ago.

I've noticed this, too. When I jump to a new post in a thread, I either manually refresh the screen or hit the refresh option on the top right corner. It'll add in the missing posts. Kind of a pita, but I'm used to it now.

I went with these: Link Removed

For me, the original Gibson pick ups are the Thunderbird sound. MHO Also the neck through and mahogany,
