Indeed it is! I've purchased a few basses for him and sent them on to Germany, he is a very nice guy. I am quite German too, so we get on pretty well as internet buddies, he has a great sense of humor and is very well read. I am sincerely looking forward to meeting him and his wife later this year.

Well, before I turned to Thunderbirds I used to have a mid 70's Jetglo Rickenbacker 4001, a late 70's black Fender Precision with a maple neck, a black Washburn Scavenger, an 8-string Ibanez Musician and a full Marshall stack with two 4x12" cabs.

I sold all of these in the late 80's when I switched permanently to keyboards, which I played for almost 2 decades...

Nowadays I only play my Thunderbird basses live, but I also have a Fender Blacktop Precision in White Chrome Pearl finish, heavily modified with all-black hardware:

I'm quite curious about this...

I regularly see nice T'birds on Ebay, but quite often they either don't ship to Europe, or the shipping is astronomical, so bidding is out of the question.
How much is shipping from your end to Germany (or Denmark for that matter)?

This is my Jackson JS3V.
I regret buying this, I believe that I'm a Thunderbirdist, so I am going to harvest it's organs and put them in a Thunderbird, as it actually sounds okay... So aye, show me your other basses!

Well my main is the white precision, but in my band i exclusively play the thunderbird through my mxr m80 d.i. box. Great little pedal with eq and distortion that gives my bird the extra boost and bite. As for the case, thanks. It's really great to be building something for my bird since i'm sick of using my acoustic guitar's gig bag.

About the name...just a really naive 16 year old me who was heavy into black veil brides. I like their music, but i do wish i could change my name. Don't know to what, but meh.

Shipping out via the U.S. Postal service to Germany is about $150.00 for Standard non expedited delivery, I always use this, there's never a problem. Upon your picking the bass up you pay any duties etc.

This one went to Germany last month, Hamburg to be specific. $93.45 by USPS Priority Mail, in its case. The only problem for me with Priority Mail is you can only insure for around $200 via the post office. I use Shipsurance.com, maximum you can purchase is $1000 for $15.00. Shipping costs to Denmark and the rest of Europe are about the same, around $10 less if you go through the Post Office website.
