I assume Carvin drivers are fine. I have been playing the upright through a Carvin rig for a while with no issues. It's not exactly a powerful combo, but it gets the job done well enough for me.

Dude that's it- filling up that space with that pg does it for me... I may well be done with any more cosmetic mods after this.
I spoke to my daughter about the artwork... Going for something minimal but dramatic. And it'll have to get along with the Raven looking image there on the upper bout...

The specs say 1.5 inches at the nut, which is pretty narrow.

I actually generally think of "fat neck" versus "thin neck" as a front to back thickness, rather than nut width.

The question had to do with a Fender Rumble 350 combo that had an original driver and a Carvin replacement driver... The Carvin was replacing a Pyle driver that was in there previously. I was trying to discern if the Carvin was OK matched with the original one. I think my mention of the Pyle had stolen the thunder, as it were, from the question...

And yeah, curiously there is a lot of avoiding brusqueness out there in the general population. To bad.

As to Threshing Floor I was thinkin oh not a bad very hard rock/metal band til I listened to the lyrics. Get down with your bad selves! Very aggressive with a timeless message.

Threshing Floor is a good band with a really bad bass player.

"23" is based on Psalm 23, which is where the super clever title came from. If any of you guys hate it, remember that it was Hillerup that made me post it, so in that case, feel free to pelt him with e-cabbage and iTomatoes.
