Got the tuners today!!!!
Set up is nice & low, had to raise the bridge just a bit in order for the G string to play without buzzing. I'm in love with this string spacing. It's much easier to groove & play the whole neck without that chunkiness from before.
First impressions on the tuners: Very Good! Arrived with no dings or dents. All the hardware is in good shape. They are finished more in flat/satin black rather than glossy like the originals. The key is smaller lengthwise & slimmer width wise. Solid machine heads for dirt cheap & It has added clarity to the strings. They sound brighter acoustically.

Just wanted to throw up a pic of the swank new PG I got for my 'bird from our very own Larry V (thanks Larry!). I wasn't sure if I was going to like it better than the white one, but I do! And the wife says it looks classy... 
I told her this is what you call a 'tuxedo' bass.
The only other cosmetic thing I want to do is replace the black PG screws with gold ones.
