you stole my sirius programming! Actually, I didn't bother with stern; I liked him in the 90s but not since. And I have the 70s and 80s channels.My daughters boyfriend used to date Eric Brittingham's daughter. He had no idea who the dad was or about the band and was surprised I knew who they were. Once he heard a few songs he realized that he did know the music but was clueless about who the artist was. Kids these days.Haha
My truck allows me to program 18 channels on satellite radio. Station 1 - Underground Garage 2 = Ozzy's Boneyard 3 = Hair Nation 4 = First Wave 5 = Lithium 6 = Howard Stern. Stern gets the least amount of my time despite listening religiously in the 90's.

I understand and agree with most of the criticism of Katy Perry and yet I enjoy her music...

Man, the 60s singing groups were something else and it don't hurt one bit that a sensible share of them had the man, James Jamerson, as their (studio) bass player. My folks had a few 33s of the Platters, Temptations and compilation of Motown stuff and I still have a lot of this music on the iPhone.
Totally unrelated music, turning towards lady artists... my daughter turned me on Christina Perri a few years ago and I must confess having a mild fascination with Jar of hearts. Haunting piece of music.
and also Natalie Merchant, although I can't say I'm familiar with her work, save for this gem.

I feel like Stern is still doing a lot of the same material from back then so I rarely listen. I probably have the 70s and 80s programmed as well but keeping track of 18 stations isn't easy for me. I know I have a Tom Petty station, outlaw country/Americana, and Comedy central but everything else is a surprise when I land on it.
It's rare I can't find something I like outta the first band (of 3), so I don't go searching.I would be willing to help drive him there.
