Probably the only one. Gibson bass guitar users - Julian Cope - The Beast

Uh, the lava lamp? I don't see a Thunderbird in that picture.
I carry the Precision when I want extra space. It's headstock doesn't look as lethal, and the bass isn't as long, but for some reason, it HATES everyone.Do you always wear your THUNDERBIRD to go shopping? Gonna have to try that.
I have a Model Two. It's not very loud, and it sounds great. It still has the zip cord with a two prong plug. I really should deal with that someday.Early Kalamazoo Model One and Model Two amps had a 1K to 1.5K power supply resistor at the output tube's screen grid. These tended to overheat. Rather than go to a larger resistor, CMI just upped the value to 2.2k or 3.3k (seemingly at random), reducing the power dissipated while keeping their cost the same. I never heard of one that actually failed because of this.
It's beautiful.A healthy price but a nicely preserved example w/OHSC. (no affiliations) Appears to still have the brass mute but is missing the neck pu cover. Also has 2 upper strap pegs as most did regardless of what anyone else sez.

That is in as good a condition as I recall seeing in a "for sale" bass in a long time. If I were Geddy, I'd buy it.A healthy price but a nicely preserved example w/OHSC. Don't give him any ideas! He already owns about half the '60s Thunderbirds ever made. Scott is on his way to owning the other half. That is in as good a condition as I recall seeing in a "for sale" bass in a long time. If I were Geddy, I'd buy it.
I knew a guy back in the 60's that had a defunct EB-0-or-3, I forget which. He kept it(unstrung)on stage 'just in case'.LOL - I'm not normally a bar brawl kind of guy, but I've often said if I were caught up in one, my bass of choice would be a Dan Armstrong Lucite bass...

Super heavy, indestructible and the added advantage of getting to actually see (through the clear body) the look on someone's face as they are whacked upside the head.
Disclaimer - this is not my bass, Just a screen shot off the web. Wouldn't mind trying one just to say I have, but probably heavier than I'd like to own.
Sure am glad it's not a NR, I'd be sellin' the new gigmobile. WT7, there's no gigs anyway.A healthy price but a nicely preserved example w/OHSC. Hah. I keep three baseball bats in various locations for the unexpected. But maybe I should get one of those for the wall at the top of the stairwell.LOL - I'm not normally a bar brawl kind of guy, but I've often said if I were caught up in one, my bass of choice would be a Dan Armstrong Lucite bass...

I was in Vons last week and a checker shut a couple of brats down in their tracks. Everyone in line made sure Mom know they supported the checker. I doubt the Mom will ever go back. Maybe we’re getting our collective gonads back.It would scare the hell out of the kids when you pop the headstock off at them!

This will be the subtle 'learn' from this situation - reduced tolerance for irresponsibility. On all levels, after this - BS should not be tolerated. This is how a real revolution starts.
You do realize that Krakatoa is west of Java, right? Good song though!I dated a girl that really liked them when they were new or becoming a thing. Even looked like the redhead in the band. I never was into that genre, but really thought Love Shack was clever and is an example of a song well done. She and I were never serious. We seemed to always connect when neither of us was seeing someone else. But I did marry a redhead.![]()

Nothing wrong with moving away from Triodeland and closer to Pentodeland...Early Kalamazoo Model One and Model Two amps had a 1K to 1.5K power supply resistor at the output tube's screen grid.
