No complaints-yet. If I turn it up loud enuff to bother them, stuff will be falling offa shelves and I'm not much for creating more straightening up for myself.

The house might fall down if he is playing loud enough for you to hear in Texas... Of course, with the house collapsed, I'm sure no one is worrying about tidying up.

I'm needing some help. I just got a non-reverse Mike Lull T-5 and I need to get a stand for it that is long enough. I have a Hercules stand and the nuts that hold the leg braces are right where the bass hangs - and I really don't want to scratch up the finish. I have an extremely high-tech piece of bubble wrap around that area but would rather have something that fits. Any suggestions?

Interesting. I use Hercules stands for all of my basses, guitars, ukuleles and microphones. I've never seen a Hercules stand that looked like yours. I can't even find it on their website. I wonder if you managed to get a counterfeit one. It should look like this...

Stickers were on that case in the background when I got it. Have no idea what they are, so if it's a child eating cult, I'm not a member. That's the case the burst VP came in.

I know the conventional wisdom here was don't do it, but I switched the pickguards. I like them this way and will leave them.

Could be. That was never my thing. Did like early Journey when Neil had a monster fro! It's a Window company around here (different spelling).

Better than the ones on the white(ish) one. They would be better if they went to 11. But I would still prefer speed or bells. But, it is your bass, you do as you wish with it.

Funny you mentioned whitish. I've actually thought about having it refinished, including matching headstock, in Oly white
