Thunderbird Club

Random T-bird drop - have no idea the maker. Sandberg? I like the overall look/design of it.

Thanks! ;) I go by the rules. It's 34" scale, walnut neck/ebony 22 fret fb, alder body, Novak Darkstar/Bi-Sonic pu, John East 9v mid-sweep tone pot, stacked passive 500k V/T pot, Strat-jack, Schaller 3D bridge, Sperzil locking tuners, etched brass hs plate & neck plate, and a luscious sparkle "eggplant" finish by Marty Bell / SoCal. Looks black cherry in low light and comes alive under bright stage lighting! Needless to say it is light, ergo and balances well.

Thats pretty rad, I like it. who made this and where can we get one ?

I picked up my Classic Pro this morning, hanging around in the kitchen after some routine activity, sitting with the dregs of my coffee, and I found I just wanted to hold it. I listened to the sound of it as I hit the strings, finally, and was enjoying the quality of sound imparted by all that Mahogany. Acoustically it's deep and a tad boxy, not pingy really at all. Sounds musical and solid, and so very playable. And it it just feels really good. So I played some tunes.

Yep, I like my Thunderbird. Just thought I'd throw that in.

Wow. This is almost like the experience of hanging around with your girlfriend/partner/lover on a quiet day... Funny. Apparently I did the right thing picking her up!
I was waiting for the part about something you can say about your Thunderbird that you can't say about your wife...
Maybe I just wasn't being clear...

That's a cool bass, nice elongated sweep thing going on. Love the single dot at the 12th fret. Has just a trace of "Awkward" going on, and toy-like funkiness with that big dot. Really cool, gotta love a visually surprising one-off.
