BTW...TI long-scale flats (JF344) fit the Epi VP perfectly, no worries...and sound amazing.
This bass is probs the best one I’ve ever had straight out of the box. All I had to do was a little tuning...the setup, intonation, frets, and neck are spot on
I've not had TIs on a VP, but they sound good on the '76. Fender flats do sound great on VPs. In fact, everything sounds good, some things just most to the amazing realm. So much so, I'm concerned the '09 Gibson I just bought might be underwhelming.
