Thunderbird Club

Finally! You have a much better supply of patience than I could claim, the metal PG and TRC will look wonderful if you were to have them chrome plated........
I haven't had it in good daylight, but I didn't think I would like the aluminum, but initially going back and forth, the white PG might seem a little off with all the black. Being the only thing white, I'm not sure it will look right. Maybe without the black beauties it would have a little less black going on and the white would look more normal.

Not the best pics with one being brighter, but it's a comparison of some sorts.

Wow, almost can't believe it. Hope it was worth it! Try the neck pickup on full and bridge a little rolled off.
Me either. So far it seems great. Looks like it's hardly been played and when it was it was with great care. "New" at GC doesn't look this good.
Thanks for the advice. It definitely has a different voice that the other Thunderbirds I have, but sings the same tune. The PUs are up as much as possible, so we'll see how it goes. The black beauties are different. Not sure if they will stay or not. I'll use them in practice or live once to know for sure. But I'm curious what some of my typical rounds will sound like.

Excellent! She's sweet looking, I like the custom pickguard. Well worth the wait I hope.

I've always loved the old Indy cars. A friend of mine has one in his collection. IIRC it was a 1967 Lola, here's a pic of my daughter sitting in it, I think he still races it...

Nothing says you can’t do a black guard like some of us have put on our ‘15s. So how does she sound?

What year is it?
