Not straight east ?Yeah, we are pretty short on bays here. The quickest trip to the beach from here is Gulf Shores, AL. Wonderful place. Thought about retiring in that direction one day.
Affordable and, no State tax..

I already have an Ebony VP. But at that price one could afford to bling bling it up with a gold bridge, gold cans and trim rings, gold lollipop tuners, gold strings and a gold pickguard. Yum!Great deal on a VP at GC.

LOL - Oz is beautiful and on my short list of best places to live, but it seems like every living creature on land is deadly poisonous and the ones in the ocean are even deadlier. The good news is you don't get many droughts or wildfires there. The bad news is, when you get em they're big.Listening to you guys I think there is nowhere in the US that I could live.
Snow ! Earthquakes ! Tornados ! Hurricanes!
Pollen clouds over Texas !
plus all those dangerous critters.
it is safer in Oz!

That is pretty funny! Is this a new instrument? I have trouble imagining that's how it came from the factory particularly on an instrument costing over half a K; looks like something an owner would do. But then again, who knows?
And if it does the job of raising the pickups...would it be better if it were pieces of wenge hand-shaped by a master craftsman instead? I'm reminded of the bit from Robert Pirsig's Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance in which his friend with the BMW is struggling with some loose handlebars and is horrified by Pirsig's suggestion to fix his expensive European motorcycle with a piece of old beer can, which prompts Pirsig to muse that the BMW shop would also use an aluminum strip as a shim, they just wouldn't call it a piece of old beer can.
Someone ought to snap that up. Even if it's got some wear, that really decent. Almost worth cannibalizing the parts at that price.Great deal on a VP at GC.

But you don't have two Ebony VPs! One with rounds and one with flats! That’s about a 10-15 Drive from my house...but I already have an ebony VP
No, believe it not, South is by a very few miles. Seems odd, I know. I'd rather go South anyway, the beaches are really pretty in that part (Eastern) of the Gulf. East Cost has that grey brown sand mostly. I am not an earth tones person. Not straight east ?
I'm thinking you have a valid point!Listening to you guys I think there is nowhere in the US that I could live.
