Aquavit will make you religious for a bit. If crashing dirt bikes into a snowbank seems like a good idea, then you are doing it right. Not that I would know.

A few more Hello Dollys were necessary. No Thunderbird was harmed.

That would be me!

I had something in the cart at Thomanns but like to think about things before pushing the Order button. Dang TB, was catching up on this thread, saw the VP come up and I'm a sucker for good deals. Thanks Nocturnal! So I trashed the Thomanns cart and snagged this, no thinking required!

Just in time for Thunderbird Thursday, I have an open stand just waiting for the new arrival:

Though I'm not expecting it anytime soon, I can wait it out. My order from Thomanns last March took 3 weeks. The last 12 days with no shipping update, once it hit customs in the US, until the day of delivery.

With this one coming from NY, should be here a little sooner, maybe? Hopefully it won't make the US tour around the west coast before showing up at my work! All I have so far is an order confirmation, no shipping information.

I'm not a play-by-play shipping info guy, so you won't hear anymore about it until I can provide pictures.

Seller contacted me this morning, no dice on the replacement from Epiphone, so it’s refund time.
I’ve got the ebony VP (Blackbird) and a couple Jack Casady basses (alpine white and a Pelham Blue in the works), so I’m pretty set atm
