It's the light - it's subtly textured golden anodized aluminum. (not smooth) Examples of vintage anodized pg's show it rendered smooth to a silver where touched a lot.

Hey man, thanks for the compliment. Sure, the thunderbird is one of the best basses available and it sounds really great, on this track it nailed the Pbass sound. My strings are dead sounding but with a new set, it sounds even better.

Quite a departure from your other song selections. Always fun to try stuff out of the norm.
How about a bit of tango, then on to some 1940's Swing before landing on some classic Pink Floyd Prog rock.

Yeah, kinda different but still rockin'! I may try something else surely.

So, I kinda fell into a Lynryd Skynyrd tribute band. I brought a Fender Precision and a Gibson T-bird to the first rehearsal. I must say the T-bird is really made for this music. I usually don’t like or need great sustain, but it really works for this stuff. Good on you T-bird! I’ve had the Gibson T for almost 10 years, but I’ve only used it for one-offs and special projects. I’m gonna make it my number one for this band and really get to know it.
