Well, I have thought when my Mother passes away the basement can be used as one big jam room.A tad callous I guess.

Any owners of an all original NR have thoughts on the pickups here?
I came close to buying a couple of those over the years. Never pulled the trigger tho.
My '67 NR is all original('cept the PG). I've never given any thought to changing the pups. The bridge/superfluous pup may have a 'bad' volume pot but since I don't use it, I don't care. The front(neck?-it ain't that close. Like my EB-0)gives me all the tonal possibilities I could ask for, so I'm happy as a clam at high tide. Well, except for the fact we ain't playing.

It's the first time I've seen one, I'd be pulling the trigger but am still paying off that Les Paul.
Ever unscrewed the pickups and taken a look at the underside? I am lucky enuff to know my limits when it comes to instruments(and some other things). I'm certain I could take it apart. Not so sure I could put it back together.
why would that be an issue? the bass is refinished right?

Yep, that's the 1967 they have on Reverb, received some better pics of everything so was wondering about if everything looked up to snuff!

I'd hit it, price is kinda high but there are only so many of them, hopefully the seller is reasonable.
Oh gotcha, my bad, for some dumb reason I thought you meant the mounting holes in the body..
Anyone know if the pup position on the single pup bird is the same as the neck pup on the bird iv?
