Thunderbird Club

That's great. I love both the feel and tone, plus they're well-priced. Win-win-win. And I like the company.
I would like to try them again one day, when I've used up my current supply of strings on hand. G&Ls used to come with them, then they switched to d'addario's.:rollno: I thought they were really nice. Even bought a set of exposed cores once. They too sounded great. They all sounded good, felt good and never have an issue with them.

From everything I've seen from your string searches, it's doesn't like these SITs are for you. You don't seem to go for that kinda biting tone.

This is a great version I think. My favourite yet, and I like this tune anyway.

I think that's the first video our friend Maxx did for as a favor, ( really sweet of him) it's very early on in the band's history with the live stuff being shot at "The Vogue" on Seattle's Capitol Hill and "The Crazy Fish" in Pt. Angeles. The recording was done mostly in my basement, I used my green '76, a pick, a Line6 pedal and the GK, recording with a mic and the direct out. Kim Wilde's official fansite actually mentions our version. The shots on the freeway are as you would come into Seattle westbound on I-90. Our drummer at the time was a really cool punk lesbian named freddie, she was a great influence on us, as the "punk" really came into the music as we put it together. Life took her to LA quite a long time ago, happily we still talk on FB.

Sunday love.

I really like the sound of your bass here.

I was going to ask which bird! The pick was obvious. Great tone and timing. I suspected early on because the others don’t all seem as comfortable on stage. The band’s come a long way with stage presence, especially the lead singer.
