...licensing deal? no idea, but some details... the TBR has a smaller headstock (as seen on the Gibson Thunderbird Studio basses) and the mirrored shape (as seen on the Firebird Zero) may be a lefty version for righties...

Right, I quite like the whole catalog. I guess it was Gifford who was on Diesel and Dust which was popular here. Play along to Beds Are Burning, on a VP, neck PUP dimed, bridge off, tone about half. Play it loud.

On the new one, I’m going to listen to it first.
Judging by the track names they may be into full on political mode, plus all (just about?) tracks include indigenous persons input. Which could be really good or could just be preaching.

I intend to listen before buying it, just being careful.

They all seam like great people, including Alice. He seems to be hugely supportive of people in his backing band moving on to other opportunities.

I got to see Pat at about the time, Scott Sheets was still in the band as the second guitarist, he was stand out great - but the whole band cooked that night. Billy Squier opened the show and played a fantastic set as well, his drummer and bassist especially, probably one of the best shows I ever got to see.

I'm not really familiar with Sheets, but Neil Giraldo is a really great player. The album Precious Time is kinda special to me, and more recently I've noticed some really interesting guitar work throughout the album. Worth a listen if you haven't heard it in a while.

Like Washington. We are seeing a big spike. It's not as bad as the rest of the country, for whatever that's worth. Not a whole lot, I suppose. I'm still traveling for work off and on, which is an odd situation. A vaccine can't come soon enough, so far as I'm concerned.

I feel the same way. I hear people talking about not taking the vaccine and I'm thinking, how can you not take this one... seems odd to not take what may be the key to saving your life and the lives of your loved ones.

I went out Saturday night, two bars. First for cheap beers and the second for a great rock show by a band called, Pröwess from NC. I've seen them a bunch of times and even caught them in NC when I was down there so there was no doubt I was going to see them when they were in my backyard. Anyway... so weird to be out sitting in a bar catching live music in a packed bar with friends and strangers... no one following the "rules".
