But won't she know that some tom-fu%^ery went down when all the dishes and glassware/stemware are all moved in the cabinets... at least that's what happens at my house when I "test" my equipment.
We no longer have a China cabinet but when we did, it rattled like crazy when levels were TURNT UP! Now I just rattle the kitchen cabinets one room over from the music room.
When my wife returns from work trips she usually needs to adjust the wall art in the family room. The vibrations from the amp always makes things......shift. Once I had bought a new amp and my friend came over to check it out. We got so loud that you could here metal things settling in the kitchen drawers when we stopped playing abruptly. We found that amusing but I'm sure the neighbors didn't.
The great thing about living in California Earthquake country is the knick knacks and other breakables in the China cabinets are all held in place with museum gel and all wall hangings are on quake proof hooks. the Greco has a slightly shorter scale, never a problem with the first position...
Another old rocker has passed away. Aussie bassist Ronnie Peel aka ‘Rockwell T James’ at the age of 74.

He played in 60’s band The Missing Links, then Thunderclap Newman in the UK, then back to Oz for the La De Da’s, John Paul Young’s Allstars Band, Stevie Wright etc. He had a few solo singles and an album under the Rockwell T James nom de plume.
I last saw him perform 12-18 months ago on the ‘JPY plays the Vanda Young Songbook’ tour. Looking older and half sitting on a stool but still laying it down.

Very cool! Congrats. Seeing one of those always makes me wonder about the licensing deal between Greco and Gibson...interesting if not more accurate twist on “Non Reverse”. Looks to be of similar vintage of your red reverse...how would you describe the pickup’s tonal character? Please excuse my questions, very curious about those..
These announcements are becoming too frequent. Yesterday was Hensley. Today another talent. Although I didn’t know about him, I’m going to do a bit of studying now.
I would have missed out on the pimp ride look! It was used, you get don't get to pick. But I will say the interior was a lady pleaser. I was the the only guy I knew who have a car girls fell in love with.
Finally moved in. Have no idea where anything but my basses are.....but we're here. Had to smooth over an issue with the guy across the street. The movers drove in a part of the dead end he mows and left ruts. (Suggested they not do that yesterday, but they did today.) There are some ruts in some grass, but I apologized and told him I suggested to the driver how to best enter the drive. We're all good now, but I did slip in later when asking what I need to mow that the the (his) property line was way back from the area he was complaining about. But we had a great conversation and it should be a good situation in the future. He even came over and talked nicely to the driver as they were leaving. Everybody has off days.
Got to relax on the deck few minutes, then back at it trying to get the cable service up and running.
Grady even likes it....

Congrats on getting the move part behind you. It won't be long now and the settling in part will be behind you as well.
As for the ruts... surprisingly easy to deal with if you're so inclined.
Using a round point shovel like this one: Eagle 46 in. Long Handle Steel Round Point Shovel-1554300 - The Home Depot
You just need to lift the rut above grade to eliminate the soil compaction and nature will do it's thing with future rains to return the soil density back to normal.
This process goes quicker than you'd think.
You put the shovel nose in the rut vertically as deep as you can and pull back on the handle to lift the sod. Move back 8-10 inches and repeat. Don't pop it up too much above grade or it'll cause issues with mowing. I was able to repair ruts left on my property by a well drilling rig in pretty short order. Obviously it'll help if the lawn has seen some rain to soften things up and not knowing if there's a lot of rocks or roots at shovel depth but that could slow things down as well. I didn't have anything like that under my sod so I was done way faster than I thought I'd be. The drill rig guy showed me how to do it and I was grateful.

Suzi Quatro is great!
Helped pave the way for a lot of women musicians, especially in rock music. Kathy Valentine from the Go-gos said she started playing guitar because of Suzi.
