Thunderbird Club

The room is still a mess but its beginning to come together. All of the Birds have come home to roost.

Need to order more hangers. Still a lot of basses in the guest room.

You inspired me. I just ordered more of the anchors and screws, a 48’ Maple slat for the home office practice shed I’m setting up and a bunch more hangers. I’m really tired of guitar stands.

Now THAT'S a beautiful room! Great taste in basses (and amps). And I like your framed poster. I was at that show (the only one on the tour where they had the carnival Gene had promised for 20 years). I took a bunch of friends who'd never seen them, and had as much fun watching their reactions as I did the show. :roflmao:

Great family picture! Congratulations on a very nice collection of instruments and gear.

Thanks guys! I appreciate the kind words.

@MCF I agree completely on the stands. They take up a lot of floor space. My goal is to hang as many as possible in this room and use the "road case" stand off to the side somewhere. The bass that goes in my office will be on a stand but I am hoping it is the only one.

Just a little tease for @KaraQ

I have a bunch as well, amazing how they held up after all these years.[/QUOTE]
Very stable dyes. But processing was terrible. Required re-exposure to 3 different and specific wavelengths of light.

I wonder how my E6s will hold up. The dyes are supposed to be quite stable if stored in the dark.
