It's been fun watching this one come together over time.My LCG is finally complete with Brads conversion neck . This bass is now perfectly balanced and a mean rock machine .
I dyed the body and topped it off with Watco Danish oil . Has a Neo Punch p for a strong punchy and clear voice.

Thanks for popping in. Now I know where to go when it's time to build a reverse Fenderbird with a P pickup. It's been fun watching this one come together over time.
@fretno Is the body tint darker or more red than it was originally, or is it just a change in lighting?

Probably best to continue the conversation there, or via PM.
Thanks!

Well, I get along best with Thunderbirds from an ergonomic standpoint, but sometimes you just want a thumping Precision sound that only comes from a P pickup. An ash or alder body and a 7ender neck finish the job. Using inserts means I can put the strap button at the heel of the neck where it belongs on any Thunderbird. Thanks @Gaolee!
It's a very niche market, for sure.

My Warmoth Bird has a mahogany body and maple bolt-on neck but still gives me that P punch that I enjoy (although now it does it with Dimarzio pickups instead of EMG).
