Thunderbird Club

The PB and Silverburst LEs sound similar with Superbrights that are on them. Still nice ballsy low end. They’re great Thunderbirds! Try it, you’ll like it. So now I have to compete with you too as I want to complete the set with white, ebony, red and TV Silver. Can’t even think of doing that now with the new Gibbys coming.

Can you spot the Orville?

Not knowing exactly what is characteristic about the hs shape difference - the tuners are what I see as different. The lower one has what appears to be older reverse-wind open-threaded worm-gear much like on my '64 II and the upper has a newer tighter-threaded worm gear. It also appears the upper tuners are angled toward the top a bit, but which is which I'm not versed in.

How are they done on your '64?

OH,YEAH! Thunderbird through a 360 is the voice of Zeus!
Sounds like Martin Turner! I've had 'em all SVTs, Sunn Coliseums, Marshalls, Hiwatts etc even a number of Acoustics like the 370 this is my first 360 and it's definitely the king of all bass amps

The only thing that would be better than a 360 is two of them and a roadie.

If you mean how are the tuners positioned - they are angled slightly toward the nut. It's hard to tell looking at your pic as both hs's are angled but it looks like it could be similar.

The tuners are the give away, specifically how they're mounted, the Orville's are mounted like a '60s Gibson so the top one is the correct answer.

The bottom is a '76 Gibson, Vive la difference :)
