Did a gig tonight as a sorta fill-in. 67 NR>R200c(no FOH). 2 guitarists, drummer, and me. 6 to 9 at a restaurant/bar. Played a lotta tunes I'd heard but never played before. Crowd seemed to like us. Sorta a semi jam.
Awesome! Did you have charts, or did you just fake it?
Mostly fake. We had one 'rehearsal' where we went over a coupla songs-which we didn't use. I've played with the BL b4 so I'm familiar with his choices.
I’m really liking the SCR-DI as a preamp for my Marshall power amp. Ran it into the 210AVs.

Went Down a Juliana Hatfield rabbit hole. Decided to add this to the list to work on. Cool bass line. Oughta sound great on a Thunderbird!
I’ve only had the Marshall out to one rehearsal, and it did indeed kick arse!

My 1st ever all tube head, finally.
My local L&McQ shop had a decent deal on a used Traynor YBA-200. Been wanting one of those for sooooo long. The Thunderbird sounds absolutely beautiful through that rig.

One of my all-time favorite Thunderbirds!
The Chucks are nice too - my main stage shoe, as they are one of the few size-12 sneakers narrow enough to allow me to play my Taurus pedals without stomping on two pedals at once.

Thx guys. Working on dialing in the sound I like and will bring it to band rehearsals (hopefully in June) to fine-tune it. Sounding great in the basement tho ! Upper-body strength is coming back gradually, I should physically be able to transport that cab.
